This entry covers 3 days of working in the garage when I could get out there. I shamelessly copied the wing cradle that Dan Checkoway has on his website to protect my new QB wings until I am ready to work on them. I also fashioned a wheeled cradle for the fuselage so that I can move it around when I am not working on it. The inventory process is slow because I am slow. I purchased the QB kit because of time constraints and that means fewer parts for me to count. Still, this whole thing could be overwhelming for a newbie like myself if I don't break it down and keep the proper perspective. I built a rack to hang from the ceiling to hold several larger parts like cowl top, ailerons, flaps, spinner, etc. I also built a rack along the wall to hold sheeting out of the way and protect it. I need to take better pictures!!
